One person tells you to use treats. Another says never use food. Some say you should never tell your dog “no”, while others insist you need to be firmer. With so many opinions, it’s hard to know what’s right for your dog.

The truth is, there isn’t a single method that works for every dog. Every dog is different, and effective training should reflect that.

Over the past few years I’ve learned from some of the industry’s best trainers as well as learning what not to do from the industry’s worst. I have defined an approach based on what works in the real world and what is ethical for the dog.

My goal isn’t to make you dependent on a trainer. It’s to empower you to build the relationship you’ve always wanted with your dog and give them the freedom they deserve.
